We love our group dynamic. We have been grateful and lucky that current and past lab members have intuitively understood what it means to maintain a respectful and welcoming environment. However, it’s time to make these expectations more explicit in this Code of Conduct.

However, it is important to note that in some circumstances, he is legally required to report certain types of incidents to others in the organization. In those situations, you can expect that he will: 1) Listen to your concerns with empathy and respect, 2) Explain any obligation to report the incident and the process involved, 3) Report the incident to the relevant individuals promptly and accurately, and 4) Provide you with information on available support resources and next steps.
