Biomedical AI Explainable AI

Maria Bashir is a PhD student in Computer Engineering at Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), South Korea, specializing in machine learning. She holds a master’s degree in Information Technology, with prior research experience in neural networks and recommendation systems. Her research interests include the Internet of Things (IoT), explainable AI (XAI), large language models (LLMs), and diagnosis methods for biomedical applications. She has experience in both academic research and technical development, with an active focus on explainable medical AI. Maria is fluent in English, Sindhi, and Urdu, and brings a strong combination of technical skills, multilingual communication, and research expertise to her work in advancing intelligent technologies.
